The Paraguayan film “Landfill Harmonic”, directed by Brad Allgood, Graham Townsley, will be shown at the Private Cultural Center “Aquarius” in Mitrovica on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 8:30 p.m. The film is shown as part of the fourth Eco Art Fest, which is realized under the slogan “Reduce, reuse, recycle”. The organizer of the festival is “Akvarijus” from Mitrovica, and the festival is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC.

The film follows the recycling orchestra Kateura, a Paraguayan musical group whose instruments are made entirely from waste. When the story about them begins to spread through the Internet, the orchestra becomes a worldwide sensation. Children from a small village get the opportunity to play with big world stars, such as the heavy-metal band Megadeth, but also in front of United Nations officials in Rio de Janeiro at a big summit on the occasion of 20 years of climate action…
